A Picture-Perfect Evening at The Capen House
There’s something special about seeing a memorable moment captured in a photograph. It’s even more special when you recognize the people in it!
Pearson’s Catering recently had the pleasure of catering a beautiful Rinat Halon Photography exhibit at The Capen House, located at the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens in Winter Park, and while taking in the photographs on display, we spotted two very familiar faces: Pearson’s Catering owners Kim Pearson and Dan Shier.
A Moment Worth Framing
Seeing Kim and Dan featured in Rinat Photography’s exhibit was such an honor, especially during an evening celebrating creativity, beautiful spaces, and the people who make Central Florida’s event community so special.
And we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting. The Capen House at the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens brought its own character to the evening, creating a backdrop that felt right at home alongside Rinat Photography’s work.
Of course, in true Pearson’s fashion, we didn’t just get to enjoy the evening. We got to feed it, too!
What Was on the Menu?
Guests enjoyed a menu filled with creative flavors, including crab salad with mango and wasabi aioli, corn cups filled with guacamole and shredded Southwest chicken topped with caramelized pineapple, and ahi tuna tossed in soy ginger and truffle oil, served on cucumber rounds with sriracha aioli.
We also served our signature mini turkey cranberry grill bites, followed by a sweet finish of chocolate pots de crème, rose and orange vanilla bean-scented panna cotta, Dad’s molasses cookies, and French macarons.
A little savory, a little sweet, and plenty to enjoy while taking in the exhibit.
On the Walls AND on the Tables
It’s not every day we get to say Pearson’s was represented both on the walls and on the tables!
A heartfelt thank you to Rinat Photography for featuring Kim and Dan and for trusting Pearson’s Catering with the menu for such a memorable evening. And a special thank you to The Capen House and the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens for providing such a beautiful setting for the celebration.
